The long, lazy days of summer have officially arrived! To help green thumbs get the most out of their gardens and gear up for cooler months to come, Pike Nurseries is offering a selection of FREE classes. Those seeking to bring the beauty of the outdoors inside can enjoy learning about repotting and growing orchids, a fan favorite, with classes from Tuesday, August 8 –Sunday, August 12. For novice gardeners looking to add some flower power to planter beds, Pike Nurseries is offering an introductory flower gardening class from Tuesday, August 22-Thursday, August 24. Whether it’s knowledge for this fall’s garden, or indoor plant prep, Pike Nurseries is ready to take the guesswork out of gardening!

Orchids are the perfect way to bring beauty indoors! They can bloom for weeks, even months at a time, and are easy to care for with a few simple tricks. The garden center professionals will explain different varieties of orchids and how to plant, care for and repot the elegant beauties.

Flower Gardening for Beginners is specifically designed for novice gardeners who and those looking to try gardening for the first time.  In this free class, the experts at Pike Nurseries will cover basic gardening techniques, such as determining what flowers to plant now, where and how to plant and general care tips to keep your garden thriving. Even the most experienced gardeners started out as beginners: learning in the garden is evergreen, and this class has everything needed to get started!
