  • June 6: Birds
Birds have a symbiotic relationship with gardens, meaning each benefits each other. Kids can learn how outdoor spaces at home provide food and homes for birds -- as well as how birds help gardens flourish. Little ones can also learn how to plant a sunflower to add to their own gardens at home!
  • June 13: Worms
Little attendees have the chance to play in the dirt with wiggly worms to see why they’re beneficial to soil and aid in the growth of plants.
  • June 20: Seeds
Budding green thumbs can explore the variations of seeds that turn into flowering plants, towering trees and delicious fruits and vegetables.
  • June 27: Butterflies and Ladybugs
Butterflies and ladybugs both serve as beneficial bugs in the garden. Kids can learn how the insects help plants grow and make a butterfly feeder to hang in green spaces at home.
