Pike Nurseries to salute spring with gardening classes and events

Pike Nurseries is set to blossom this month with a variety of classes and events for green thumbs ready to make their gardens pop this season. From learning about hydrangeas and succulents to flipping hot dogs for their loyal customers, the experts at Atlanta’s favorite garden center have the tools to celebrate the peak growing season and help gardens look their best in time for summer.

All About Hydrangeas Class
May 2-6 at select Pike Nurseries locations
The South’s favorite shrub is now in bloom! The big, colorful pom-poms of these flowers make hydrangeas one of the most popular plants for southern gardens. This FREE class will teach attendees all about the different varieties of these splendid shrubs, as well as how to best plant, prune and care for them. As a bonus, attendees can enjoy complimentary light refreshments and a free gift.

Customer Appreciation Grilling Event
Saturday, May 20, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at all Pike Nurseries store locations
To thank its loyal customers for playing in the dirt, the garden center will host a FREE location-wide Customer Appreciation event on Saturday, May 20! Guests can access storewide savings and enjoy a complimentary lunch in-store. The Kamado Joe or Saber grill (varies by location) will be fired up to serve delicious hot dogs and soda to all customers from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. (while supplies last!).

DIY Night: Succulent Garden
Thursday, May 25 at 7 p.m. at select Pike Nurseries store locations
$50 per class

This do-it-yourself event kicks off a NEW monthly summer series with sips and succulents! This diverse group of plants has shot to stardom for their distinct foliage, hardiness and effortless style. Characterized by their ability to store water in their leaves and stems, succulents are perfect for planting in hot weather months. In this hands-on seminar, customers will learn how to mix and match succulents to make their own stylish garden, ideal for the backyard or an office desk! Fee includes complimentary wine and light bites, as well as all materials necessary for the succulent garden. Attendees should pre-register at pikenursery.com/classes to reserve a spot and pre-pay.
